As it has been a while since we last posted a blog update, we thought what better time to keep you up to date on all things DOSH than the start of the new calendar year. That reminds me, Happy belated New Year everyone! Since our last blog update, the DOSH team have been non-stop so we thought we’d let you know what we’ve been up to and what we have planned.
DOSH has brought the group many fantastic opportunities, meeting loads of new people from all over the U.K, presenting, attending forums and always gaining knowledge. We have been lucky enough to have been given the opportunity to hold and present training sessions for the staff at our workplace. Work for this project is well underway and we are hoping to include Lee Phillips and The Money Advice Service to evaluate DOSH and peer to peer coaching in this where we can. It’s all very exciting!
Whilst in London, Tom and Amy popped in on Lloyds Banking group, to have a brief catch up with David Rowsell and Ross Gardiner, we’re hoping to get something in the diary to continue to discuss DOSH’s legacy.
In addition to this, we are in talks with West Monmouth Comprehensive School to hold interactive learning sessions with their year 10 students, which we are all really excited about. We are looking to visit West Mon’ in the summer months to feature in their Life Skills lessons. So we are currently working on this, and creating new content for the year 10 students and to make it accessible to all abilities.
Along with all the big news that is happening, there’s always the little behind the scenes tasks that we’re doing, to keep everything up to date and to always improve DOSH. Such as preparing business cards for the team; looking for improvements to our starter pack, creating a DOSH bucket list, getting new photos of the team taken etc.
So basically, since our last blog update, nothing has really changed. We are still very busy and still loving life. Keep smiling!
