Welcome to the brand new DOSH Website!
Since starting our project in September last year, an awful lot has changed. In that time, we have won two awards, gained a lot of knowledge, worked with assembly members and have even said goodbye to a few of our team members.
Since starting our project in September last year, an awful lot has changed. In that time, we have won two awards, gained a lot of knowledge, worked with assembly members and have even said goodbye to a few of our team members.
It seemed only fitting that we updated and improved our website to reflect all time. You will see we have changed our "About DOSH" tab informing you all of our story so far, our team information has been updated and we have created space for our new resources that will be available very soon.
The final new addition to our website is this very blog page. This is the page where you can follow our progress on our mission to provide financial education to all students in England and Wales.
In March this year, we won the title of "Welsh Money for Life Champions 2015" followed by "UK Money for Life Champions 2015" in May. This opened a huge variety of doors to us and we are now busier than ever.
Perhaps the most prolific project we are now involved with us the Donaldson review. We have been working with Bethan Jenkins AM to help shape what financial education should look like for young people. This is continuing to develop and hopefully, we will one day see this rolled out over the national curriculum.
With success however, comes change. The DOSH team recently shrunk from 8 to 5. Ashley and Lowri have decided that the time commitment of DOSH was too great and Ashely wishes to focus this time on his duties in patents. In addition to this, Sam has decided that office life is not for him, thus making it more difficult for him to be involved in DOSH. This unfortunately means that they have decided to leave the team.
We would like to thank Ashley, Sam and Lowri for all of their input in the shaping of DOSH and wish them all the best in future.
We hope you can take the time to look around our new website and hope you enjoy what you find.
